Young Professionals Committees
Newark and Atlantic City
We're recruiting young professionals between the ages of 25-39 to help spread the word about youth homelessness.
What can you do to help homeless youth? Join Covenant House New Jersey’s Young Professionals Committee, a dedicated and energetic group of like-minded people raising awareness to make a difference in the world, starting in their own backyard.
Why get involved with the Young Professionals? Covenant House is the largest privately funded organization in New Jersey addressing the needs of homeless youth. We can’t do it alone. We need people like you to spread the word about homeless youth and the work that Covenant House is doing. We need your help to raise awareness — and money — to support our Crisis Care Centers and statewide programs.
Give of yourself and get so much in return. Not only will you get the satisfaction of helping the thousands of young people who walk through our doors each year, but you will also have the opportunity to meet other young professionals in New Jersey who share your ideas about change. The benefits of networking speak for themselves, especially during these uncertain times, not to mention, participation on a philanthropic committee is an excellent resume builder! Plus, Covenant House will gladly submit letters of accommodation to your employer about your participation and civic leadership.
Is there a financial obligation? No, we do not charge any membership fees. We only ask that each year you commit to 2 YP meetings, 2 events, and 5 hours of volunteer activity. Other than that, just spread the word to all of your friends and have fun!
