The Pastoral Minister embodies the Covenant House Mission by providing support, guidance and information to youth and staff in a holistic manner. Meeting spiritual, religious and value needs related to the integration of the body, soul and spirit of each person, the Pastoral Minister focuses on the meaning of life experiences for the individual and encourages the growth of the faith tradition of each person.

Spiritual guidance is a source of comfort to our youth as they struggle to overcome their adversities and hardships. Pastoral counseling, daily prayer and meditation are offered, as well as specialized workshops, seminars, retreats and guest speakers. The Covenant House Pastoral Minister also aids youth in attending their own faith community services outside the agency and serves as an advocate to local faith communities and community agencies.
