On August 30, 2007, Larry Kane hosted the "Ticket to Ride" featuring Yesterday - A Beatles Tribute Show Band performing their show "The British Are Coming" at the Tropicana Showroom in Atlantic City, NJ.

The show featured Yesterday performing Beatles hits, including "I Wanna Hold Your Hand", "A Hard Day's Night" and "Ticket to Ride." As host, Kane was able to shed insight into the Beatles' American rise to stardom, as he was the only journalist to travel to every stop on the Beatles 1964 and 1965 tours, and interviewed the Beatles on multiple occasions. In addition to hosting the performance, Kane also signed autographs and Topicana hosted the world premiere of his newest audio book, "Ticket to Ride". Narrated by Kane and including interviews with The Beatles from the 1964-65 period, "A Ticket to Ride" was on sale exclusively through Tropicana and will later be available via iTunes. A portion of the ticket sales and a Beatles memorabilia raffle was held to benefit the Covenant House in Atlantic City.

Larry Kane, known as the dean of Philadelphia television news anchors, has been one of the market's most respected broadcast journalists for more than 40 years, and has recently marked his 45th anniversary in broadcasting.
