Our Services
Covenant
House New Jersey is the largest provider in the state of
services to homeless and at-risk adolescents between the
ages of 16 and 21. Last year, Covenant House served over
2,000 young people. Tonight alone, 120 homeless adolescents
and 19 babies in North and South Jersey have a safe and caring
place to sleep. Another dozen will walk through the doors
of the Crisis Centers in Newark and Atlantic City for the
first time, at all hours of the day and night, looking for
a way off the street and someone to help them, to care for
them. Covenant House will help over 50 percent of them to
stabilize their crises and leave the streets, and continue
to progress in their life goals.
In
addition to food, shelter, clothing, and crisis care, Covenant
House New Jersey provides health care, educational and vocational
services, counseling, drug abuse treatment and prevention
programs, legal services, mother/child programs, transitional
living programs, street outreach, and aftercare.
