Executive
Director Jill Rottmann
Since
2000, Jill Rottmann has worked for New Jersey’s homeless
young people by serving in a variety of capacities within
Covenant House New Jersey (CHNJ), all with the purpose
of supporting, improving and expanding the work of the
organization. As Director of Development, Jill doubled
the agency’s transitional living capacity through
permanent funding opportunities and community partnerships.
Additionally, she led a statewide process improvement initiative
that improved the efficiency and effectiveness of the services
offered to clients and all cross-departmental work and
developed and operationalized a comprehensive training
program for direct care staff.
Prior to joining CHNJ, Jill
was an attorney, providing legal counsel and technical
assistance to non-profit housing developers in Newark.
Jill also co-founded and led Newark Do Something, an organization
designed to inspire, train and organize the city’s
young people to bring about community change in their neighborhoods.
This program remains the model for the parent Do Something
organization’s efforts in schools and communities
throughout the country.
Jill lives in Roselle Park,
NJ with her husband and two children. |
