(609) 348.1122 Located in the heart of Atlantic City just 2 blocks from the boardwalk, this 27 bed program provides residential services to males, females, and mothers with children. This location also serves as our Community Service center where youth who have a place to live can come and access our specialized services, including education, vocation, legal, behavioral health, and independent living. (609) 348.4356 This newly constructed building opened in June 2008 and is located just a few blocks away from our crisis shelter, this independent living program provides 10 apartments for 20 youth and helps bridge the gap for them as they work, save money and learn how to live independently. Youth are taught basic life skills they will need once they leave the program and live on their own, including cooking, shopping, cleaning, and budgeting. SAP (Scattered Apartment Program) provides funding for youth once they leave Rites of Passage and find an apartment they can maintain. SAP funds provide rental assistance on a sliding scale for up to 6 months. RAPHAEL'S LIFE HOUSE Elizabeth, NJ 07114 T. (908) 354.4070 F. (908) 354.9222 This program is a modernized 12 room residence where quality care will be offered to pregnant young women and their children upon birth. It is expected that their maximum length of stay will be 12 months. We provide support with a six-month follow-up service to the mothers who go on to live independently in the community. Services provided include case management, nutrition, parenting classes, and life skills. NANCY'S PLACE Montclair, NJ 07042 T. (TBD) F. Expected to open by February 2009, our new highly supportive medium-term housing environment provides 8 young adults, who are coping with mental health or learning disabilities, specialized programming designed to meet their developmental needs leading to proven positive outcomes.
